9:37a - Happy Day After the Day After the Day of the Dead
I've been a baaaaaaaaaad blogger! And so, there are lots of updates!
* ITEM! I'm taking part in National Novel Writing Month this month. I'm not taking it too seriously, but it is a chance-slash-excuse for me to plot out a novel I've been planning for a while. Even if I don't write 50,000 words this month (that's the Goal for NaNoWriMo), I will have a fully executed plot by the end of the month. I can live with that.

* ITEM! I've been interviewed! B-independent.com, the site that previously ran a very nice review of DIE LAUGHING, has just posted an interview with me. I had a lot of fun doing this one. There are a few typos in the introductory paragraph, but they should only be temporary. Here's the link:

* ITEM! I'm the guest speaker at next Saturday's meeting of the Garden State Horror Writers. My topic: "Mixing it Up: Crossing Genre Boundaries in Fiction." I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one, and I think the audience will, too. Check it out!

* ITEM! Have you seen the trailers for the Kevin Costner horror movie "Dragonfly?" We did ourselves the great disservice of renting the DVD last night. Do not, under any circumstances, rent this movie! Sure, there are a few excellent and intelligently done scares in the film, but the story is utterly pointless, and the ending is ridiculous if not offensive. Stay away!
* ITEM! The recent book signings at various Borders throughout the state didn't go as well as planned. Oh well. On to the next stuff.
* ITEM! The fourth series of Living Dead Dolls have hit stores. That dripping sound is me drooling over them...
