4:45p - Gasp! I can breathe again!
Man, it's been a busy week! Two book signings, several writing deadlines, one new book (IDW's Tales of Terror hit stores this week), and more kung-fu lessons, plus an unbelievable number of hours spent in meetings at work. Yikes.
The first book signing went very well. Sold lots of books, and despite the store forgetting to include my name in the publicity, I had a good time. The second signing... not so good. On the plus side, they not only ordered copies of Die Laughing, they ordered more copies than I have ever seen in one place at the same time. On the bad side, we sold not a single book in the three hours we were there. Sigh...
All the same, thanks to the many friends who came out to each signing. It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces. And it was good to reconnect with people I haven't seen in way, way too long.
In other news, I haven't had much time to update ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) extinctionblog in the last few days. That will follow as soon as I get another deadline or two off of my desk.
More when I come up again for air in a few days.
